Women's bags
Shape, proportion and finish carry this category. Our work is built around clean pattern engineering, stable reinforcement and an edge finish that survives daily use.
Constructions we make
- ToteOpen or zipped top, flat or gusseted base, shoulder or top-handle carry.
- Shoulder bagSingle or double gusset, flap or zip closure, adjustable strap.
- CrossbodyCompact body, detachable long strap, chain or leather strap options.
- ClutchFramed, envelope or soft pouch, with or without wrist strap.
- BucketCylindrical body, drawstring or cinch closure, reinforced base.
- Top-handleStructured body, hand-set handle, often with a detachable shoulder strap.
Construction details — interlining, base board, feet, handle anchoring — are proposed during development and confirmed on the first sample.
Handle attachment and edge finishing are the two operations most often responsible for returns. Illustrative image.
What we control in production.
| Parameter | Range / option | Control point |
|---|---|---|
| Dimensions | Customer spec; typically 20–40 cm wide | Pattern and final measurement |
| Leather | 0.9–1.6 mm for body; 1.2–1.8 mm for handles | Incoming thickness and shade check |
| Stitch density | 8–10 stitches per inch [TBC] | In-line visual and count check |
| Edge finish | Edge paint, turned, bound or raw | Coating thickness and drying |
| Hardware | Zips, locks, rings, feet, chain | Function test and finish inspection |
| Lining | Textile or leather; pockets to spec | Alignment and seam security |
| Weight | Balanced to size; hardware dependent | Final weigh check [TBC] |
Where quality is won or lost
Handle attachment
Load-bearing points are reinforced with interlining and bar-tacked or riveted according to the design. Pull tests are performed on the sealed sample.
Edge finishing
Substrate preparation decides whether the paint adheres. Edges are sanded, primed and coated in thin layers rather than one heavy pass.
Symmetry
Flap, gusset and pocket alignment are checked on the bench, not only at final inspection. A 2 mm asymmetry is visible on a finished bag.
