Men's bags
Function first: structure that holds its shape, hardware that works after a thousand cycles, and interiors that survive daily commuting and travel.
Constructions we make
- BriefcaseFramed or soft body, document compartment, laptop sleeve, hand or shoulder carry.
- MessengerFlap or zip top, adjustable webbing or leather strap, reinforced base.
- BackpackPadded back panel and straps, laptop compartment, roll-top or zip access.
- Travel holdallLarge capacity, reinforced handles, detachable shoulder strap, base studs.
We design interiors around the actual contents — laptop size, document format, cable pockets — rather than adding generic pockets after the outer shape is fixed.
Hardware is selected as a system: zip, puller, rings, buckles and feet in one finish. Illustrative image.
Durability parameters.
| Parameter | Typical specification | Verification |
|---|---|---|
| Body leather | 1.2–1.8 mm full-grain or coated canvas | Thickness, grain and shade |
| Lining | 210D–600D textile or leather | Abrasion and seam strength |
| Zip | No. 8–10 metal or nylon | Cycle test on sealed sample |
| Strap | 38–50 mm webbing or leather | Load test at attachment points |
| Laptop fit | 13"–16" to customer spec | Template check before sampling |
| Base protection | Studs, reinforced panel or both | Visual and pull check |
Load and cycle test protocols are agreed with the customer; where a branded test standard applies, it is written into the inspection plan.
Engineering notes
Structure
Panels are interlined to hold shape without becoming rigid. Base boards are removable where repairability matters.
Hardware
Load-bearing rings and buckles are specified by strength, not appearance. We will reject a design that looks right but fails in use.
Repairability
Screwed hardware, accessible linings and replaceable straps extend service life and reduce warranty claims.
